2 cup water 2 cup sugar
Basil Simple Syrup:
Prepare as above except stir 1/4 cup snipped fresh basil in with the sugar and water. After removing from the heat, let stand at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours. Strain after cooling.
Mint Simple Syrup:
Prepare as above except stir 1/2 cup snipped fresh mint in with the sugar and water. After removing from the heat, let stand at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours. Strain after cooling.
Ginger Simple Syrup:
Prepare as above except stir 1/2 cup sliced fresh ginger in with the sugar and water. After removing from the heat, let stand at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours. Strain after cooling.
