Extreme makeover “We completely renovated our home when we bought it about five years ago. We didn’t move in for a year because we took it down to the studs and did a complete overhaul. This was the first house we designed and decorated with ‘adult’ furniture and decor. Meaning, I didn’t have to worry about babies crawling around or kids drawing on the walls!” Interior aesthetic “Contemporary beach. We are coastal and mountain living, and we want our home to be an extension of the outside. It’s a comfortable, casual vibe that’s durable for dog and people traffic. We echo the blue shades of the ocean, pool, and sky throughout the decor.” Eat, pray, love & fitness “Sometimes we think we can’t squeeze another thing into our day, and we may be right. It’s not about more; it’s about shifting things and choosing new priorities that benefit your life best.” Dibs! “I love my grandmother Helen’s porcelain china, which my mom has.” Proudest accomplishment “Being Val’s wife for 25 years and counting. Marriage is a wonderful but difficult road at times. Twenty-five years is pretty incredible! I’m also most proud of our three children, Natasha, Lev, and Maksim. They are wonderful human beings, and I can’t imagine life without them.” Full House IRL “So many Cameron family traditions have changed over the years simply because with 18 grandchildren between the four of us siblings, my parents adjusted to all of our new personal family traditions. I’m so grateful to them for doing so!” I Am Traditional Her family comes first, she has huge soft spots for ice cream and puppies, is dying to learn to be a better singer, and enjoys traveling to Capri, Italy. She treasures hugs from her kids, can’t get enough of her mom’s secret recipe for chocolate chip cookies, and loves to laugh at almost everything—even really dumb dad jokes.
